Founder & CEO Jarvis Harris
Donors deserve more than donor management.
They deserve donor success.
Donor Success was founded in April 2026 from that simple belief — and from Founder Jarvis Harris’s career spent building and leading Customer Success, Customer Experience, renewals, and SaaS operations for companies ranging from emerging technology businesses to global enterprises.
Across those companies, Jarvis’s work centered on a consistent challenge: how do organizations use technology, data, process, and human relationships to understand customers better, create measurable value, strengthen retention, and build relationships that last? Over the years, he helped build and scale Customer Success organizations, design customer health models, create renewal and risk-management systems, develop customer journeys, and implement executive dashboards — all in service of questions more important than what happened:
Who needs our attention? Why? What should we do next? And how do we create an experience that makes people want to stay?
Then his work inside the nonprofit sector brought those experiences together in a completely different way. Working alongside nonprofit executives, development teams, boards, technology leaders, and community organizations, Jarvis saw organizations doing extraordinary work while often trying to cultivate their most important relationships through disconnected systems, spreadsheets, traditional fundraising processes, and technology primarily designed to record transactions.
What if we applied the principles of Customer Success to the people who make nonprofit missions possible — the donors?
Businesses had spent decades investing in Customer Success technology to understand customer health, identify risk, orchestrate journeys, predict renewals, recommend next actions, and increase lifetime value. Yet nonprofit organizations were still largely being given tools focused on managing donor records and processing donations.
Jarvis believed there was an opportunity to build something different. Not another CRM. Not another fundraising database. And not another consulting firm. He envisioned a platform built around the relationship itself.
That vision became Donor Success — founded in April 2026 to bring the disciplines of modern Customer Success, SaaS technology, artificial intelligence, data intelligence, and strategic advisory into the world of donor cultivation. The idea was straightforward but powerful:
Know your donors. Understand the health of the relationship. Recognize risk and opportunity earlier. Know what to do next. Build relationships that inspire people to keep giving.
That philosophy has shaped the Donor Success platform — from donor health scoring and recommended next actions to donor intelligence, analytics, journeys, executive visibility, and the next generation of tools being built for nonprofit leaders.
But technology was never intended to replace the human side of fundraising. Quite the opposite. Jarvis’s vision for Donor Success is rooted in the belief that better technology should create more time for better relationships. Because behind every donor record is a person. Behind every gift is a decision to believe in something. And behind every nonprofit is a mission depending on generosity to keep moving forward. Donor Success exists to strengthen the connection between all three.
Today, we are building toward a future where Donor Success becomes as fundamental to nonprofit organizations as Customer Success has become to modern businesses — a discipline, an operating model, and an intelligent platform centered on cultivating relationships that last. We call that future Intelligent Donor Success™. And while our company was founded in 2026, we believe the movement is just getting started.
